Hi
I have a lawton 7000 action and the bolt release catch screw has broken.
Being in the Uk I am not knowledgeable about your screw threads so Im struggling to find a replacement.
The screw is broken off so close to the head that it is not possible to check the teeth per inch with a gauge so The dimensions are as follows:-
Its a socket head cap screw that takes a 3/32 allen wrench
Screw Head diameter is approximately 0.1790”
Outside diameter of thread is approximately 0.1070”
Internal diameter of threaded hole the screw fits is approximately number 43 drill 0.889”
What thread there is left to see looks coarse for the diameter, coarser than 6-48 or anything metric Ive to hand
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Bbrc
