Songs...not instrumentals. What do you think? Tough to remove the music sometime. Disregarding the guitar, what is your favourite song? Added...This would be a very difficult question for me.

Breakup songs: Mrs. Brown You've got a Lovely Daughter (Herman's Hermits) and The King is Gone and so are You (Highwaymen). The Stone's "Can't Get no Satisfaction" is more a generic anthem, Orbison's "Pretty Woman" is close to anthem class. Cohen's "Hallelujah" is the most-covered pop song with over 300 other artists recording it. But then, I remember Bill Haley, Fats Domino, and the Sun Records crew of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. I even remember the Diamonds "Silhouette on the Shade" and later loved The Animals' version of "House of the Rising Sun."

Well men, there are a lot of entertaining popular songs. It may be just me, I'll vote for Amassing Grace. I know it's a hymn, not campfire cool.

The Sound Of Silence ~ Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk to you again Because a vision softly creeping, Left it's seeds while I was sleeping And the vision, that was planted in my brain - still remains. Other than that - Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road', sorta sums up my whole life!

Aside from certain worship songs, some of our patriotic songs are great to me - especially "America, the Beautiful". Including the music/harmony as well as the lyrics, I think the one of the greatest song expressing love is "You'll Never Know", and a great tragic/sad one for me is "Ghost in This House". A great hope song is "You'll Never Walk Alone", and a great one for inspiration is "Climb Every Mountain". There will lots or different choices, Looking forward to seeing those.

Layla, by Clapton. I can take either version.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
