Just make sure there is enough room.
You can add the comfort you need.
Canopy type covers, that attach to the tree above the stand, are not too expensive, and can add to the comfort

My late opinion...

We like the big game standsf due to the web seats, but so do the squirrels. watch for rodent damage. Adding a seat cushion is good advice.

Its nice to have that full platform, but its also more weight to swing up there. You could add something after you get it installed.

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

I solve the seat cushion and comfort issues by just getting a wheelbarrow inner tube and put a couple of pounds of air I. It. Just enough to raise your butt off the hard surface. It will look like it’s barely inflated. Can sit all day on a metal mesh seat and great for turkey hunting as well. Easy to carry and best woods upgrade I have.

I whole heartedly recommend the Muddy Nexus. I have hunted out of one with my son for about 5 years. Hands down the best stand I have ever sat in. Liked it so much I bought a second one.

Its expensive and its heavy but worth every penny and every drop of sweat once you get it up and sit in it.

Whatever you do, get one that has the platform going all the way to the tree. You have a lot more room if you can stash your backpack/gear under the seat.

While I agree in theory, I've found it better to hang stuff off the shooting rail. I use carabiners of various sizes. I have one in front of me to clip my rifle when I need both hands for something. I have another that I use to hang the duffle in which I carry my outer layer of clothing. My reason for doing it this way is that I got tired of dropping stuff out of the stand. Everything I take up with me is either in a pocket, in my hand or attached to the stand.
