Yards that is...and about all the farther I'll take a shot at an elk this fall. My aging eyes have a tough time seeing clearly up close. I still have 20-15 distance vision, but up close not so great.... I've been shooting about 25-30 arrows a day. 12 more days until the opener....;)

If that is your fifty yard group you are doing something right!
While 50 is not a bad cut off point & 30 may be even better for many. Confident accuracy at any distance is what you are looking for. Not encouraging anyone to change anything up this close to season. Yet Ill share that I have just started working with retina-loc sight feature on one bow and this has been an eye opener on my form. I am rapidly becoming a believer in the retina-loc as my groups are shrinking notably with its proper use & my more consistent form.
From one individual with diminishing eyesight to others. I expect form is more of our concern than our eyesight at this point. YMMV.
I envy you making the elk hunting journey. Wish you a great hunt. Shoot straight & see how much I envy you when the work starts with a critter down

Quite impressive or at least it is for someone just getting back into archery after a LONG time away. Rest assured I will be practicing with hopes of getting similar groups in the future.

Lookin good!! Whatcha shootin pat?
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Good luck! Look forward to seeing what you shoot. It is. I've had it a couple years. Smooth and fast.

You mind doing a ancestry test Pat. 100$ test could be like winning lucky for life. 😂😁 I'm hoping this one shows up again. You do guide work? I'd be happy with his little brother!
