Own several Rugers this one is now my favorite.took it chuck and p.d. hunting, my shooting partner shot a 100 yd. group,7 rounds that wen't into a nice round one and a quarter inch group, load was 124gr rainer h.p. 3.7 yrs clays powder fed 100 primer a.v.1162 col 1.110,haven't been able to duplicate since (came close) but this is awesome accuracy for a little carbine.took 1000 rounds to montana,shot them all, if I could get with in 100 yds. they were toast, if you have one share your favorite load.

Emery: I own quite a few Ruger Rifles myself, but I was NOT at all familiar with the "PC carbine" - I had to look it up on the Ruger site and found out its is a 9m/m "black Rifle".
I am very happy for you and the fun you recently had with the Rifle on the "chuck and prairie dog" safari.
Thats a lot of shooting you got in - again good for you and you have proven it to be reliable again good for you.
BUT... I believe that is the least pleasing looking "Rifle" I have ever seen in my life!
I hope you remain happy with the Rifle and its performances but I do not think I could sleep at night knowing such an ugly Rifle was in my house?
Thats just me though.
