I've been wanting to put a flag up across the lake. Am thinking a telescoping pole with a solar powered light on top would be fairly maintenance free.
A search on Amazon turns up a lot in the 20' - 25' range.
I plan to do some research and this may be a great place to start.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to brand?
Thanks, in advance.

Bought one a few years ago at the state fair from these folks:http://www.uncommonflagpoles.com/. They have lots of options. I have the 20' model. Has been a great addition to the house. Easy to extend and retract by myself. Still looks great! Made in Wilmar, MN.
They also carry all sorts of flags and accessories - including lights. I tried their solar light - it didn't last long in the winter winds. Bought a cheap solar light that mounts to the pole - working good after 5+ years. (Can't recall where we bought it)
Hard to go wrong with them.

I have had one for about 20 years, traveled around with us quite a bit, still goes to Yuma with us in the winter. If you need a flagpole, these are a quality item.
