So I have narrowed it down I’m getting a 338win. However I need to find a rifle if that’s not successful I will order a Cooper however I’m trying to find a lightweight commercially produced.

Lightweight 338 doesn't sound like much fun, however stock fit will go a long way to reducing felt recoil so you may want to look at a M70, get it tuned up and stick it in a syn stock that is custom fitted to you. That would be the route I would go anyway.

They told me on the phone they didn’t have it there. Maybe they do and the guy was wrong
The extreme weather I held the other day felt clunky

My Tikka T-3 SS is a lite good shooting rifle. Depending on scope on it my can go from about 7.3 #s to 7.8.
