Nike is airing the Colin Kaepernick on the opener Thursday.
I canceled my NFL channel and will not be watching the NFL until the overpaid baby's can stand for our country. I know there are some good Patriotic players and have nothing to do with this BS.
My biggest problem is the NFL commission they should have dealt swiftly with the trader Kaepernick the first time he took a knee. Now they want to further insult us by allowing the Nike commercial to air the very first game of the season. WOW
Time to stand up get the word out lets sink there ratings do not watch.

Yep, Roger Goodell shoulda, coulda, but wouldn't do what a leader is supposed to do: lead. A leader who will not discipline those he is in charge of is a poor leader indeed.
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

The wife was/is a bigger football fan-atic that I’ve ever been has been unusually cranky on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. One benefit has been she loves releasing her pent up tensions in otherways than having a beer yelling at the TV.

I have been boycotting since the first knee was taken and I'm done with them even if it is taken care of in future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a dam shame although it has been going down hill since they booted Hank Williams JR.
I finally able to retire and after missing so many games due to work was looking forward to watching all day Sundays. (worked Sundays could not watch morning games) hell might as well go back to work lol.

I've been boycotting the NFL for six years now and I don't miss it, as I was never a big fan of left wing circus acts, anyway. Although last year I actually enjoyed watching a high school football game that was broadcast on a local cable access station. It reminded me that football is actually a good sport until it gets turned into a multi million dollar, left leaning, Hollywood soap opera carefully scripted to promote their ideas of what we should believe.

The problem with blaming Goodell for not stopping this as soon as it started is, you are assuming he was against it to begin with.
I believe Goodell and probably the majority of the owners were all for the kneeling, until they got called out for it.
Only until after the backlash started were they concerned about it and by then it was to late.
Now they don't know what to do about it and it serves them right.

I started watching college football last year instead of the bigs. I really enjoyed it. I'll be watching again. I just need to come up with team to become "my" team.

I won't forget a lot of things. but have not watched football in years either. Just glad the wife finally got fed up with NFL a few years ago.
She too agrees nature is out there, why be tied to a tube when you can get out and do or just read a book if nothing else.
