Hey everybody! Hodgdon has 243 Win data for 85 gr Barnes TSX and H4350, but I want to use Sierra HPBTs instead. Can I use their data with my bullets? I get that Barnes have different traits but would it cause issues? Or does anyone have Sierra data with H4350? Thanks!

Hodgdon data is very similair to what Nosler lists for 4 bullets 85-90 grain.Take that as you see fit but start low.

Here is the page in the Sierra book. IMR 4350 is very similar, almost identical in some, as much as a grain different in others. Start low and work up.

It so happens, that last week I talked to a Barnes Tech about this very thing. He said I would not run into any problems using the loads listed for Barnes bullets for jacketed bullets in the same weights. I think the Barnes online load data states that also. The reason could be that the jackets are softer so pressures would be less, like using a load for a 150 jacket but using a 145 or a 140 gr. bullet.
