Antelope season starts saturday. My little man can finally hunt this year on a mentored tag, so he's chomping at the bit. we need to make it quick because I leave at noon to meet some other members for the antelope Armageddon in Wyoming. Dave you should think about making a trip out for it! After last years dream season I only drew an archery and an antlerless WT tag for this fall so I'll have to live vicariously through all you guys this year. my new walleye boat has been feeling left out, so maybe it's a sign. J elky I need to send you my knife for a sheath. I know we discussed it 3 or 4 years ago......  I would be interested in one of the Boners like you are making for Rooster (insert additional grade school snicker)

Dave, did you guys get any snow, over the weekend ? Paul, I was up the north shore and in the southern end of the BWCAW this past weekend into yesterday. It didn't snow, but it had to be damn close. Sunday morning it was 34*F and misting/sprinkling.

Back from my elk trip. Wow, what a trip. the bulls were really active and we had a lot of encounters. I shot a 4X4 bull at 44 yards the day after my birthday!
