I don't understand unless these were all long guns, how they would know there were a bunch of guns in the warehouse. Can't imagine that many guns goes through one warehouse. Maybe I'm naïve. Wonder if they got any handguns. Seems to me these manufactures are selling way more handguns, than long guns.

They must have all been 9mm handguns. If they didnt say 9mm, they wouldnt be recognized by the hoodlums.
They probably were pissed that Ruger doesnt equip their guns with side sights.

The guns were part of a shipment from Ruger in North Carolina. They were shipped to Memphis, en route to other destinations in Dallas and points west. These guys got 3 pallets of guns but there were 19 pallets total, thousands of guns total.
So Ruger is routinely shipping lots of pistols to the Memphis facility. So these guys had weeks, and probably months, to plan this heist.
What the hell kind of security does UPS have at the Memphis facility that someone could pull this off?

I had a 364 Ruger caliber Veeblefitzer quad-audio semi-automatic assault machine gun. Ammo was a biatch to find.  So reload, sport.....
