If you were limited to one bullet for your 7mm RM, what would it be?
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

I used the 150 Partition on deer in East Tx and Georgia, so its a contender. I am hopelessly Nostalgic though so would pick any of the good 160 grain bullets. 7mm anything balances well with the 160gr.

I use the 140 Ballistic tip, but if I had to choose one, it would be the 160 Accubond.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

139 or 145 gn. LRX.
And those are the only ones I use in the 280 AI, at essentially RM velocities. No need for anything heavier.

160 Partition, or Accubond.
You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

I got a box of the 160 gr. 7mm Federal Tipped Bonded Trophy bullets to try. Haven't have time to work with them, but from what I read, they're accurate and have great terminal performance. They look like a cross between a Partition and a TTSX, lead front section, solid copper core. MidwayUSA has them on BO.
If they shoot as advertised, they may be a good option for one best bullet.
Generally hard to beat the proven 160 Partitions or Accubonds.

Bugger: not sniping, sincere question: wouldn’t the answer to your question depend heavily on what game you were after? Or, if you plan on using it for multiple species, why limit yourself to one bullet?
Or was it just a rhetorical question?

I'm happy with the 150 Scirocco. It'll be going on the cow hunt at the end of the month.

I'm really impressed with the 162 eld-x so far. I haven't drawn a tag since I've been loading them so no first hand on game experience, but I've killed deer and elk with cup and core bullets without fail so I'm sure it will do it. And the high bc is a difference maker especially with wind. So that would have to be my choice.

I'd like to try some of the Federal TLR 155gr if they'd ever release them. Til then I'll stick with the 150 gr Scirocco.
DF - the Trophy Bonded Tip is essentially a Bonded Bear Claw with a tip and a few aerodynamic enhancements.

140 TTSX! Great speed and 99-100% weight retention. What's not to like?

I haven't shot any game with it yet, but I've been working with a new Sendero in 7mm Remington Magnum. The 140 TTSX BT has been the most accurate bullet of several I've tried that include the 140, 150, and 160 Partitions, the 140 and 150 TSXs, and the 160 Sierra HP. I can't shoot a 1/2" or 5/8" group everytime, but I've seen enough small groups to know this is the hunting bullet I'll be using in this rifle should I feel strong enough to carry such a heavy gun in the field.
I have a NULA in 7x61 Sharpe & Hart (ballistically a 7mm Remington Magnum) that is in need of it's third barrel. In an unworn barrel, the 160 Partition shoots very accurately as does the 150 TSX. Presently, I'm doing good to get these bullets to group inside 1 1/2" at 100 yards. Since I was trying the 140 TTSX BT in the 7mm RM Sendero, I decided to try it in the 7x61. Did very well with groups of 3/4" or slightly less. Why the 140 TTSX BT will shoot accurately in a worn barrel and the the others won't, I don't know.

Yep, mine have been one of the more accurate in my 280 Rem with RL26...and it's one of my more fussy rifles.
