I have a collection of approximately 12 safety razors. I love them all. Of course I have all the brushes and soap, et. al.

I have one, very cost effective. I always laugh at those who say it’s a closer shave than a new style razor...it’s not.

Been using them for a few months now. Particularly like how they take on heavy growth compared to the others during the weekly bath event. LOL

My Rockwell R1 safety gives a super close shave. But, if you really want to save money, go with a good straight razor.

When I started shaving all there was the Gillett razor. The straight razor was around, shudder. I save blood with a Mach3.

I started shaving again, the beard was making me look seriously old, like 70.

I do appreciate the tip about safety razors. Ain't used 'em since Africa, and the Yugoslavian blades commonly sold there were just horrible.

This must have been a problem on account of besides faces on men and legs on women, both men and women also shave their pits and their 'nads eek

1957 Gillette adjustable and Feather blades....I never found a soap or cream that I liked so I stuck with Gillette gel.

I have various safety razors with Astra blades. I will never go back to a cartridge or disposable razors.
