People who think like X1Proto are the reason we cannot get a filibuster proof majority in the Senate to be able to repeal Obama Care. Some people just do not understand what is happening in the legislature and the politics of it. I hate voting for a republican that is not as conservative as I would like but not voting for him means a liberal democrat will be sitting in the legislature and that is even worse.

When I cast my Ballot on Nov 6, 2018 it depends on whether the Congress & Senate has completely Repealed ObamaCare
I will not Vote for any Republicans unless the ObamaCare is gone. They campaigned on that to get elected now that they are in office they have not kept their promises.
I won't ever Vote for any Democrat Liberal Socialist Communists. Translation: "I'm stupid enough to cut my nose off to spite my face, and I love the ass reaming I get from the Commies."

Something I always said I would never do in my younger years, I now do every election. I vote the straight Republican ticket. I will this time too! In some of the local elections, the candidates do their best to hide their political affiliations and it is a challenge sometimes to weed the liberals out.

After the BS we all witnessed last week it will be a long time before I put my mark next to any Dem on my ballot. I'll be voting straight R.
Hell, there's a slight chance we might even get a Rep governor in this state this time around.

I already did, voted straight R on my absentee ballot ( away hunting that week this year).
On a related note: In CT you can get an absentee ballot and vote with no confirmation of identity at all, I wonder how many ballots are filled out fraudulently and who they vote for?
Me personally I would have no problem stopping in at the town hall and showing ID

My wife and I will also be voting on November 6th and we will not cast a single vote for a democrat unless we’re voting to convict, in which case I’ll vote straight democrat. 😁
I hate democrats with a fugging passion.

I've had my own problems with the GOP in the past. But I really think that Trump has gone a long way towards changing the focus of the GOP,...both Congress and voters.
It's been said that politics is downhill of culture. The culture of the right in America is changing. Trump has shown them how an Alpha confronts the left and the American right can't get enough of it. Just watch the reaction of the people who turn out at his huge rallies.
The Republican members of Congress are definitely watching and taking lessons from this.
They're becoming Trumpublicans.

I'm hauling my 18 yr old son down tomorrow between his college classes to get him registered to vote at the election commission.
Can't wait to walk in with him towards the end of the month (we early vote) and loudy say to him in front of all the jiggaboos "boy...just go down through that list and ping anyone with a big R beside their name, at the end hit the fat red button"
He knows that anyway, I just want the gimmedats to think I've raised a robot.

You might be right. Nobody can be dumb enough to think that Ocare could be gone in the next 30 days. We need another midterm big win to finally kill that snake.

My wife wasn't very attuned to political matters when she first arrived here from Canada. She started getting a lesson when she started working around the "gimmedat" faction. She's fairly hardcore Republican now.
As I've mentioned, her mother was born in Russia prior to WW2. I've done a bit of schooling with her about how the Democratic Party is the kissing cousins to the Bolsheviks who made her family's life hell in pre war Russia.
She gets it now.
