Yeah, I would skip the Charley and find a river that has some water in it.
That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

Not really, I posted some info above that offers what you're looking for but I have no idea what costs could run these days as it's been 10 years since I've been up there on a float hunt. For 12 of us I think we paid something like $1500 each for the flights in and out.

That's exactly what we're trying to avoid. When I say commercial(ish), I'm talking about someplace like Wright or Warbelows on a regularly scheduled flight.

You could take Wrights into Bettles and Brooks Range Aviation to the Killik, it's worth looking into IMO but that's your call.

cheap and Alaska don't match, even for residents.
But it keeps some riff raft out a bit I suppose.
Still no place I'd rather be. I'd eat bologna all day instead of a steak just to be here.
What's 3000 grand for a flight anyway? Really not that much in the end. I could afford that every year or so if I wanted it badly enough.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
