I'm thinking about driving down from Canada with my young son next year for something like this. It would be his first ever elk hunt. Can anybody get me started in the right direction? I've hunted elk up here but really have no clue about the whos/whats/wheres for doing this down that way. I'd be looking for a semi-guided/tresspass fee kinda of thing with private land to hunt and help getting an animal out if we were lucky enough to connect. Motel accommodations and food would be fine. Not worried about the weather, can't be any worse than I'm used too up here. I'm not expecting much help here but please PM if you can point me in the right direction.
