Up for sale is my Cooper Mdl 22 Custom Classic 257 Roberts...In addition to the standard features (including AAA Claro Walnut) it comes with two options - Inlaid Sling Swivels and a Checkered Bolt Knob...it has less than 60 rounds down the tube - a few trips to the range and one hunting trip...my gunsmith grades it at 98%...it weighs 8lbs 1.5 oz without the scope...If you ordered this new from Cooper with the same options it would cost $3360 and a 6-8 month wait...I am offering it for $2400 plus shipping FFL to FFL...
This thing is a tack driver...A couple of times I got one inch groups at 200 yards and I am not that good of a shot...On the one hunting trip I took it on it spent one day in the shooting shack...I took a 150-170 yard shot at a 250 pound 175 class whitetail...the damn deer did not move...the guide said to shoot him again...as I was reaching for another round, the buck took one step and stumbled...I told the guide that I didn't think I needed to shoot him again...10 seconds later he was down for the count...
In addition to the rifle I have a Leopold VX3 4.5X14X44mm scope for $450 and an all leather Cooper Soft Case for another $400...Buy the whole package for $3000 and I will throw in 133 rounds of ammunition...
