This is a Heckler Koch P9S "Combat" in 9mm. It's a German made pistol and was the first to use a variation of H&K's roller delayed blowback system (like an MP5) in a pistol format and polygonal rifling now common in HKs. Condition is Very Good for it's age and it seems to have been fired very little. There are some imperfections in the beautiful Colt like bluing but these pistols have been long since discontinued; very early models were blued, most are matte phosphate finished. This one comes with the original box and has nitro and antler proof marks. I have inspected the Recoil Buffer personally and it is in great condition (pics avail).

These guns are very good shooters and known to be fundamentally amazing in recoil abatement, the roller locking system was working so well in the rifles, that inclusion into a pistol had to be inevitable. I like German guns, threaded 9mms, unique guns, pistol caliber lever actions, unique calibers to reload, over/unders, combo rifles, etc.. I'm not really interested in selling guns and I'll likely keep the Sig P75 pictured below but feel free to make an offer on both; the worst I can say is no.

I'm interested in hearing all trade offers... Just send a PM as I don't check this site daily. Happy to ship.

Thanks!

Additional info:

The 'S' as added to the P9 pistol stands for 'Spannabzug.' (Schponn-Obtsoog) Translated into English, Spannabzug means 'double action trigger.' This is the fundamental design difference between the P9 and the P9S. There are reportedly many suppressed P9S pistols in service with the U.S. Navy, albeit probably now in storage. Further development of the early versions of the P9 pistol led to StK 0004, a P9 with select fire capability!
