This thing is called the Super 14 because of it's 14" barrel; It's factory ported and has a beautiful dark blued finish. This is a Thompson Center Contender and is chambered in 7-30 Waters. It has beautiful factory wood stocks and a Burris 3-9X Pistol scope with mount. If you are new to this type of gun it's a break action single shot, the action is smooth & locks up tight, the trigger is great, and the recoil is very manageable.

The round, 7-30 Waters, is just a pleasure to Reload and Shoot. You can buy factory ammo but it is typically made by increasing the powder cavity on a 30-30 case and then necking it down to 7mm... I have done this and would be happy to walk you through the process. That said, this setup is geared more for the reloader and I have Lyman Dies, Data, and 150+ pcs of brass to go with it. It absolutely loves 120-140gr. bullets!

The deal I had a year ago fell through. I put this gun in the back of the safe and haven't fired it since... I decided to put this one back up for trade and am accepting offers again.
