So you glue the shoe on and can later remove it how? Leaving original trigger in what condition?

Heat will break the bond. Can't say about trigger condition after. Haven't had reason to disassemble anything I've used it on. Try it on some scrap pieces and find out.
Let us know the results.

I would just use the screw(s). If they leave a tiny shiny mark when removed then that's why god gave us touchup blue.

What about a lead shot pellet or just a little sliver of a lead pellet between the set screw and the trigger?

Let us know the results. Red hot heat and still won't break the Black Max loose!

An old gunsmith told me one time that a trigger shoe is an attempt to fix a problem that is better addressed in other ways.

I agree with Mudhen, but if you insist, go get some brass shim stock at a hobby shop. Cut a nice strip of the 20 thou, that should work.

I like a trigger shoe now and then, especially on target rifles. My RH index finger, my trigger finger, was mangled in an industrial accident and is mostly functional but mis-shapen. A trigger shoe allows me to "feel" the trigger a bit better, if that makes any sense.

I carved a trigger shoe out of ebony wood for a Ruger LCP of mine. It worked great. I just glued it on with some contact cement. Stayed on gun for 20 years til I sold it.A little laquer thinner and it came right off.
