“No scchitt “!

“Y’all don’t believe me, huh”?

“Swear I had him dead to rights “.

“Found a handful of brown hair but no blood trail “.

“Had to be at least a 12 pointer “.

“A good, solid, representative 8 pointer “.

“I guess I should just quit drinking while hunting “.

Been said but,

Calling a cartridge a caliber.

270 Winchester is a great caliber or 338 win is a great caliber.

They are cartridges.

Bang Flop (used to describe the awesome power of one's 30/30 carbine).

Not sure if this refers to the animal or hunter?

"Fudd"
"Gat"
"-gat" as a suffix, as in "wheelgat", "shotgat", "fuddgat", "levergat", "spacegat"
"pew"
"blat"
"boi", as in "long boi", "shooty boi"

These terms seem might seem appropriate for the 5-year-old crowd, but it's actually the 20-to-30-something crowd that seems to adore this kind of baby talk.

Anytime the words corn feeder or food plot are used to describe someone’s “hunting” area.

The boys will be going down to the XXXT ranch in Texas and will be putting some "Booners" on the ground. Calling Pronghorns 'Lopes. Calling the tines on antlers "Tangs". "Ground Shrinkage". And idolizing Cameron Haines.

Actually I reload for all my bolt action center fires (except the 223) and write it down on the box how many times the brass has been reloaded so I can tell you within just a few rounds how many were "down the tube".
