I recently picked up a new to me Glock 20 10mm and then promptly ordered dies, 500 Starline cases and some 200gr hard cast bullets from Montana bullets works. I loaded up 40 rounds of various powder charges and went to the nearby desert shooting area. After the shooting, I picked up all the brass I could find. When I got back home, lo and behold there were still 40 cases. Apparently all that chasing around the sage brush paid off.

So, I reload all 40 cases with the next series of powders, etc., install a 20lb recoil spring and head back to the desert this morning. Shoot all my groups, police the brass and head home. Sure enough, I have all 40 cases still....

I will say that a Glock 20 with a 20lb recoil spring and a warm 200gr load will fling brass quite a long ways.....

LOL.

Ballistics aside, that's one of the main reasons I favor the 45 Auto.

Even more, I favor my 45ACP revolvers and moon clips....The Glock shoots pretty damn good, tho....

Congratulations Tom on your new Glock. Sounds like it's a winner. Do you go to the Nourse range south of Nampa?

I generally head straight south of the airport, as I live on that side of town, when I go to the desert and not the Black Creek range.

It's getting crowded out there with all the new people moving to town.....Worse part is the amount of trash they leave behind.

You have better luck than I do chasing brass! Congrats on that.
