Solid rigs! We are on our second one, bought both used. First one was an 05 and the current one is a 2013. Never any problems with either one.

Wife had a 2010, great vehicle. Nice ride on the highway, V6 was 268 horse if I recall, plenty of power even towing small Uhaul. 3rd row seat was an option new and really helped the resale value. Decent mileage

Vehicle was good in snow as long as it wasn't really deep snow, 12 inch of snow and a steep driveway were more than they vehicle could handle.

The wife has a 2015 and it has been a good vehicle. It gets 23 mpg around town and 27 on the highway. It has a lot more room than the Honda CRV she had before it and it has less road noise in the cab. If I was buying for myself I would pick the 4Runner over the Highlander just for the ground clearance.

Hybrid or non Hybrid?

We have an 05 Hybrid at work. Had about 100K on it when the inverter or converter went out. Cost a couple of grand to fix.

My daughter has a 2007 Highlander sport, V6 (non hybrid), 12 years old, 140,000 plus miles. Usual.... brakes, alternator, just replaced the climate control cluster, rear sway bar bushings, and rear struts.

We just bought a new XLE in September for my wife. Went from a '12 Rav to the Highlander and have been very happy with it, what a difference between the two vehicles.....!!

My wife’s put a couple hundred K on two Highlanders. Replaced one fuel pump under warranty, but that’s about it. Great vehicles. A 150k Highlander is about as tight as a 75k domestic.

We have a 2014 with a little over 110,000 miles on it. Only complaint is the GPS guidance system is useless, we have to use a cheap Garmin plugged in to find anything. The GPS will send you the long way, wrong way, tell you you are at your location when you are as much as a mile away. Son-in-law also has same year Highland and he has the same issues with his. They want $330.00 for an update and my understanding is it does not fix the problems.

Got a 2012 or 2013 for my wife a couple years ago. 2 year lease turn in, great deal. SO far its the best car we've woned, and I've owned a bunch. Great ergos, nothing to not like.

I was looking for a pilot, but stumbled on a killer deal at the right time.

Really solid vehicle imo

My 05 has 160k on it and refuses to give me a reason to get rid of it.

Don't have a Highlander, but have a similar 4Runner. Mine is a 1998 with about 235K miles on it. I have had to replace 2 starters and 3 batteries. That is all.
