Up for sale is a 1981 Remington 700 Varmint Special in 7mm-08 caliber. Rifle is in Very Good + condition with a bright and shiney bore. Has factory trigger, original wood stock has been recently bedded with marine-tex gray.
$995. shipped/insured to FFL. Postal money order payment/ffl must be received within 7 days or FTF East Alabama, no trades.
And I was just thinking the other day how seldom a Nice Varmint Special shows up on here anymore. GBOB you just bought a sweet rifle. I have one and it aint going nowhere, along with 7 other Varmint Specials.
Very cool! I have one of these in .243, and it is an absolute tack driver. Normally my go to coyote gun, but this fall my daughter got her venison hat trick with it. No recoil to worry about. She got a doe (first deer) during the youth season and a nubbin and a 9pt buck during the regular gun season.
