Does anyone know if the Model 70 Classic will fit a McMillan stock made for the pre 64 Model 70?

I think the guard screw spacing is different I know it's different.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

McMillan will inlet a Classic to fit your pre-64, in which case the screw holes will be right, but the tang and the rear of the trigger guard will still be a bit of a missfit, due to the different contour of the pre-64 stock grip.
