Remington 760 .35 Whelen. this rifle was re-bored by JES last fall. Have not fired the rifle since it was re-bored. Pretty good shape for its age (1968 i think), Drilled and tapped, original butt-plate, sling swivels/front barrel band, $450 shipped. text me at 785 220 4590 for pics or more info. Thanks, Rick

I will try to find out after work. My boss sent the rifle to JES, so I’m not certain. But I’ll get back with why I find out

I have the same gun basically, mine began life as a .35 Rem. Free Bump for neat gun.

Absolutely a smoking deal, if it didn’t even have a trigger.

Sorry, I've been way out of town for a few days. I believe its a 1-12" and a 5 groove barrel. Trigger is stock and not bad, at least as decent as a good 870 trigger.

rick35,

NICE-looking Model 760 & a GOOD PRICE, too, imVho. - I'd probably buy it at that price, except that I have a 9.3x62mm that Jessie remodeled for me.
(Money won't buy my 9.3x62, as I've never been hungry enough to part with it.)

My brother calls the .35 Whelen, "The American 9.3x62 Mauser". - He's correct.

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

yours, tex
