I’m in the middle of building a integrally suppressed bolt gun chambered in 300 blackout. I’m ordering a blueprinted 700 action from PTG with their one piece bolt. I’m trying to decide between the mini m16 extractor and a standard Remington. Price is the same either way.

I'd not cut it and would stick with Remington.

Any particular reason to choose one or the other, or is it just preference?

Also this is a custom bolt that will be cut for one or the other. Not a conversion. If that matters.

Bought a action with no bolt. So I could match ID of the action to the OD of the bolt. The action will be bored to .705 bolts .703 makes for less room for sear push.
