Hey guys i need some help with mounting my scope mounts there the Leupold #55890 weaver style mounts,i'm putting them on my 700 anyways one of the mounts only has one weaver style slot and the other one is longer and has two slots,the one slot mnt fits perfect on the back but if i put the two slot mount on the front it overhangs the chamber about 1/8 inch if i turn it around it overhangs the barrel by 1/8 inch,is this normal or am i doing something wrong,any help would be apreciated..

It's ok it it hangs over a bit.Just put them in the postion that works for you.

On some set ups the over hang is required because the scope is not long enough between the bells.
