I don't know much about the 300um but my 300wm loves RL-22.

I used RL25 when I loaded for the 180gr. Scirroco when they first came out. Both accurate and very good velocity.
I use Rl25 with 200gr. NP's now and as above....I'm very satisfied.

Retumbo with 180 gr BT/AB's. Get 3350fps and great accuracy out to 1000.
Just because I am wandering around doesn't mean I am lost.

richethec: Have you run that load over a crony? The hodgdon manual shows 95.5 gr. of retumbo as max for around 3000 fps.

Hi Jamie, I use 80 gr of retumbo in a 300 win mag. My bullet is a 200 gr accubond. it is going 3010 at the muzzel. 95 sounds like a LOT! I put 84 and it expands every case and makes it had to get out.
