yeah, I killed it for 12 days. I am not sure I should even post this!

Basketball tourney for us. I was sure proud when my son made 2 crucial baskets at the end of a game for the win! Nobody will remember that game a few months from now, but it sure is cool to be bursting with proudness for your kids!

State Pheasants Forever convention this weekend. Otherwise slogging through the winter. Oh, I know, I put my name down for a yellow lab puppy. we will get it in a month or so as it is only 16 days old now.

Fact is, I have to get in the house and finish cleaning fish. I have a big bowl of fillets in lightly salted water in the fridge that I need to debone yet and bag up.

We have a 4 Walleye/sauger / licenced person / day limit.

1 can be over 18.1" normally.

Exceptions* Wabigoon, none between 18.1" & 22.8", Eagle Lake, none between 18.1" & 23.8".

Northern Pike on Wabigoon, 2/day, none greater than 29.5" & I can't remember Eagle Lakes pike slot size.

That is actually pretty strange.

Walleye release slot is 19.5" - 28" this one was released, I think it was only 21 or 22".

My son's car was another casualty of the cold weather. Battery went kerfluie. Gonna dig through the boat batteries and see if I've got one that fits in his car and the cables will reach to.

I never left the Casa Del Gophergunner all weekend. But I did go out and start both our cars twice a day. No trouble for us yet. But neither one's a Chubby.

I was in Thief River Falls Friday night, -24 (American cold) my twin boys had a wrasslin tournament. It was about the best tournament we have been to this year. They made sure to let the kids know this was about fun, it was a pre-K thru 6th grade tournament. The message seemed to be carried by the kids because I didn't see any of the tears or mad kids that I have seen at some of the other tournaments. A nice bonus was one of the boys won their first match, he now has a better record wrestling record than I do...
