Custom sheath knife by Jim Thill of Bear Run Knives, Missoula, MT Small Hunter, 3.25" blade, 7.25 OL. Jim was known for his damascus and logging cable blades. Hilt looks like copper alloy and handle is a plain light colored wood. Extremely sharp and very nicely made. My wife purchased this from Jim about 18-19 yrs ago. She field dressed 1 whitetail, the blade was touched up and she started collecting Old Timer's (she's done now). She asked me to try and sell this knife.

For sure, no I don't. It looks like damascus and cuts like it but after hearing he frequently used logging cable for blades I'm not really sure what to call it? I'm not a big custom knife guy but he was definitely meticulous and he wasn't making amateur stuff. If you want to PM your number I could try to snap more pics and text them to you.
