Folks ,
Has anyone used N133 for 60 grain Nosler ballistic tips or Sierra 65 grain Game Kings ? This is for a 7.7 twist AR .223 Remington > If you have , other than the higher price for the powder , what were your pros / cons ?
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration .

Not in .223, but it's my favorite for the .17 Mach IV. Besides great accuracy and high velocity, it is the cleanest powder I have found in it, very little residue.

I use a lot of VVN133, it is my favorite powder in the 223 Remington for 50-55 grain bullets either in a bolt gun or an AR. not the best for 60+ Around the 60 grain weight I have had the best results with IMR8208XBR.
As for the 65grain SGK it is my favorite bullet for the AR...............Varget, as much as you can fit in the case. normally about 26 grains

It would be my first choice with 50-53gr bullets in my 222, except for the cost.

N135 with 60 grain Nosler ballistic tips or Sierra 65 grain Game Kings I agree, N135 is a great powder for the 65gr SGK. I got a little better accuracy with Varget but a little better velocity with N135 both work awesome

It would be my first choice with 50-53gr bullets in my 222, except for the cost. I have almost as many 222's as 223's, for 40-52gr bullets N130 is THE powder in my rifles

I have an unopened 8 pound jug of N133 that I inherited. I also have a 5.56/.223 AR15 20 inch 1x8 twist and a Weatherby Vanguard 2 with 1X9 twist. Our preferred bullet for hogs is a 62 grain Hornady BTHP. Will N133 work for this application? Does anyone have experience with N133 and 62 grain bullets? Varget is what we've been using, but 8 pounds of high quality powder at no cost would be nice.

VV N 133 was developed for the 223, I expect it will work great, VV Link HereThey show loads for up to 75gr bullets in a 223. I've no experience with it in a 223 but it works well in my 45-70s!
