Who do you think will be the quickest to put out hunting rifles in 6.5 PRC? It looks like Sauer has the jump on everyone.

Sauer, Ruger, Mauser, Christensen, and MRC all have rifles already available. Suspect Browning will be coming out with their X-Bolt's chambered in 6.5 PRC shortly.

Of all the newer rounds its the one i like, Creadmore is just a little slower than i want for hunting. I was looking at the Mauser M18 , I think I would wait for the The M-12, Or maybe a model 70 or a 700 with a HS precision stock. Am I nuts or could a Creadmore Chamber just be reamed to the PRC, assuming the Mag is long enough and there is a big enough ring on the Action. A Remington Mountain Rifle or model 70 all weather in 6.5 PRC would be Just dandy for for a Mule Deer hunter. A 3.5X10 VX3 with the fancy turret dialed to a load with a 130ish grain Accubond or VLD X, would be fun to shoot as well as deadly....tj3006

Back to the topic at hand...
If it’s not a Fieldcraft, I don’t know if I’d be interested. And it’s unlikely there will be a 6.5 PRC Fieldcraft due to the magnum chambering.

I wonder if Barrett makes a 1-8" 21" 7-08,that'll Smooch 180's from it's OEM box and clip along at 2600fps ala '17 in Alpha brass?
Laughing!
Hint..............
