i have just bedding my mc-millan stock A-5 the tang and recoil lugs and 2" off the cylinder part off the barrel,when you screw together the action should the magazin box met the bottom off the action and topp off the trigger guard assembly so it are thigt.

That would definitely be a NO. Do not jam them together. The mag box should not touch the action and bottom metal; it could stress the action.

If you have top and bottom contact of the mag box it will act as a fulcrum and try to turn your receiver into a teeter-totter when you tighten the action screws. As stated by Jkob that can put unwanted stress right smack dab in the center of your receiver at its most flexable point.

And while you are at it, take an oversized drill bit and clean out the guard screw holes. You want good clearance around those screws.
