Just wondering if any company other than Stag Arms makes a left hand AR type rifle? Is the 6.8MM a good caliber for a defense round in the AR type rifle? I know the 6.8 ammo will be cost more than the 5.56, but would it be worth it. I am mainly interested in the rifle for defensive purposes. I shoot left handed and I am tired of brass and particles flying in front of my eyes. Any input will be greatly appreciated guys.

i don't know if the 6.8 mm is worth the extra cost for you? i would say not.

for kingdom defense if you use the .556, with hornady 75 gr. t.a.p., blackhills 77 gr. or the f.b.i. issues the 60 gr. nosler and place your shots high in the chest above the nipple line, i am sure the job will be done with authority. dead is dead. m.h.o.

77bthp has been bring back good results from the sand box. from the folks I know that have been there and back. Hits with authority.

If I'm moving up caliber wise for defense, then its gonna be drag out teh M14s again.

Thats my take on it.

That being said I have a 6mm version of the 6.8, works great for my deer hunting to about 200 yards or so.

Edited to add, I ahve nothing bad to say about CZs other ammo listed, the 77s are the only thing I've heard personally about. Being same weight area i'd think they to be fine. And the 75 tap has been in use with our local LEOs. Now if they could hit anythign.....
