The 45ACP w/ any projectile would be better than coarse language or a sharp stick in bear country.

A GLUCK-I'll pass on the Tupperware option.

Probably a good woods load for a 45ACP.

*************************************************

Am using a 45ACP+P 255SWC Keith Style for the rare times carrying a .45ACP in forests. Not recommended for glocks and HKUSP.

May I ask why the 255 SWC cannot be used in a Glocks? Mine will feed any cast Ive fired in it.

When I want to shoot cast in mine I do. They dont lead anymore than any other barrel Ive seen. Or any less.

Thanks for the bullet info GD.

I've shot lead in some Glock OEM barrels but always scrubbed the bore clean every 150-300 rounds.

I eventually switched to Hi Tek coated bullets and fouling has disappeared.

You are an idiot. It says so in your name and then again in the title. I suppose you are considering a grizzly load for frogs?

No different than the handgun owner who buys a 500 Linebaugh or a 500 S&W who only hunts deer etc.. So evidentially they are an idiot too. Never said anything about shooting a Grizzly. If your reading skills improve you will see that.

That is a question without a definitive answer. Better is really subjective. I do hunt in Grizzly country and I do have all sorts of handguns with different loads, however, when I am in that situation, I carry a 686+ in 357 magnum...

"Grizzly Bear Load" is the title of the thread started by "..doofus" - correct? Would it not be logical to assume a "grizzly bear load" is for shooting --- Grizzly Bears?

You never really know with Doofus, he might be trying to arm the bears.....
