I'm seeing a lot of people using Rl-17. Where's the data coming from because I can't find it. Looking for a starting point using it. Thanks.

The burn rate is very similar to 4350. When I tried it in my .375 AI, I used 4350 load data.....using their starting load as my starting point! memtb

I use Big Game. Barnes' starting load is 59.0 grains, but my most accurate load uses 60.5 grains. I haven't got around to chronographing it yet--mostly because, after 25 years, I finally shot my old PACT chronograph.

I use IMR4350... I can't remember how much... I will say... that little 130gr TTSX in the 30-06 is like a death ray... I get all my info from: www.hodgdonreloading.com

130 Barnes TTSX is a great bullet ! ido use a Lee neck crimp die also as Barnes recommends neck crimping on this bullet and it does help with accuracy.

I can't help with the RL17 and the 130gr TTSX in the 30.06 but I did use the TSX 130gr with RL15 in my 30.06 with excellent results. This combination was very accurate in my rifle and was pure poison on deer.
