Put a quad rail on an AP4 and took the handle off and slapped an Eotech sight on the rail where the handle was installed. Well the front iron sight gets in the way of the sight and was wondering what the best answer is for these AR-15 A3 style weaps? Would like to leave the front iron sight in place but what do I need to get the EoTech mounted higher so it will not be in line with the front iron? Maybe leave the handle on and mount it on top but I cannot see that being very stable. Maybe the front iron just needs to come off? Anyway just looking for some options.
