I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Even tougher/more painful, due to the fact that he was a father, and given the circumstances.

Having lost a number of friends in the line of duty/serving their country/community, I can empathize to a degree.

A terrible thing for the young ones to grow up without a dad, due to this.

He overstayed his visa, a wall would not have made a difference. Also, I saw no cover up that he was an illegal, I have seen it reported on a number of different news stations . I am still for building the wall I just don't like misinformation "fake news"
