I am located in Iowa, selling some fast growing hybrid willow cuttings for pickup and shipping. The fast growth can be used for wildlife habitat, screening, windbreaks, shade, and other uses. 10 for $170 dollars, planting height is 5 feet tall and can be over 10 feet tall by fall. Does not sucker or seed. Hardy in a lot of the country, plant hardiness zones 3-9.

I would plant in spring and mulch heavy going into winter in really cold climates to help protect root system.

Questions:
What part of Iowa?
Willows often need lots of water. I just planted 13 Red Willows by my creek. What do you recommend for water(ing)?

I have a house near the West border and plan on being in Debuque later in the month.

I may be interested, but probably next year.

I prefer classic.

I'm in denison, western central part of the state, I do pickup and shipping by ups. If your trees were planted close enough to the creek , they may not need watering, but if not, may need watered a couple times a week, especially more in summer-early fall time frame when it gets hotter and drier. The main thing with any new planting is controlling established vegetation, as that can really rob a new planting of moisture.
