-6.5 Ackley Improved i.e. a .280AI case necked to 6.5
-Stiller Custom action
-Helically fluted bolt, side bolt release
-M-16 extractor
-Hart Matchgrade Heavy Varmit Contour, straight flutes, 1 in 8" twist, 26" with custom muzzlebrake
-McMillan A5 Stock in McSwirly pattern (black, white, and tan. Don't know %)
-Gray Cerakote (baked on. not air dry) on all metal.
-BDL bottom metal.
-Jewell trigger set at 1.5 to 2 lbs
-Talley 30mm mounts
-Swarovski z6 3-18x50 bt with Swarovoski factory lens covers
-Rifle weighs 12.9 lbs on my bathroom scales as pictured
-Shot .3's average with Berger 140gr Hunting bullets @ 3100fps
-All McWhorter rifles are Guaranteed 1/2 MOA and come fully broken in and load developed.
-Redding Full Lenth resizing and seating dies included
-Approx 20 loaded rounds, 10 once fired Nosler Brass, and 20 resized(6.5mm necked) unfired/unloaded pieces of brass.
-To the best of my knowledge less than 50 (best guess 25-30) rounds thru the rifle
-Complete package as described above $5950 shipped
-Complete package as described above minus scope $3950 shipped (I do not wish to sell scope if rifle buyer does not want it)

-All of this is packed from a recent move, so my numbers might be off some. But, I have one unopened box of .280AI Nosler brass, 4 unopened boxes of 140gr 6.5mm Berger 100ct bullets as well as a partial box (80ish), and 3 unopened 1lb canister as well as a partial opened canister of Vihtavuori N165 Powder I will also sell if the buyer wants reloading components.

-I bought the rifle from someone who buys complete estate sales. Rifle was purchased in one of these sales, and I purchased from buyer once he took possession. I didn't get the loaded rounds that came from McWhorter with purchase. Judging from the bolt and bore the rifle hadn't been shot any past barrel break in and load development at McWhorter. McWhorter did provided me the load data. Once I got the correct dies with proper bushing to resize the necks the rifle easily shot 1/2 MOA. All my reloading stuff and data is packed up from a recent move, but I remember the average being 3080fps with a single digit ES. Rifle performed as expected.

-Selling or trading because I want a custom light weight SA 6.5 the kids can use to plink and deer hunt.

-Only trades I will consider are custom built 6.5 SAs with preference given to the Creedmoor, but I'm open to others. Worse I can say is no.

-Open to offers as well, but please go price a new McWhorter 1st. I think you will see I'm reasonably priced.

I had the wrong dies listed. Correct dies are Widden (will not come with bushing).

Thought I had this traded but fell thru.

Let's get this sold. $3000 for the rifle, rings, and brass. or trade for a quality 6.5mm short action. Will consider a production or semi-custom 6.5mm SA as well with cash added.

Several great trade offers on the table, but nothing concrete yet. Gun still for sale.

Sorry I missed this, but it never sold. I shot a 4 shot 2" group at 500 yards with it while out working on a load for my 28 Nosler recwntly and decided just to keep it. Shoot me a PM if interested still. I might still sell it.
