It's simple. The US goes to the British government with evidence of a crime. Both countries have treaties allowing for such instances. The British court reads the evidence and sends them back. See how that works?

So Jackie O and Gore Vidal are related, what's the hidden meaning you are trying to convey here?

Not only have they arrested Julian Assange they have also arrested a Wikileaks programmer and Bradley Manning is back in solitary confinement for refusing to testify to a grand jury. The Deep State is going all out to get Wikileaks. Assange is a journalist and if he had been working for The NY Times he would have a couple of Pulitzer Prizes by now.

So, do you think the Deep State has JA?

The CIA / five eyes are as deep state as it gets ! The only crime that Assange is positively guilty of is jumping bail to avoid extradition to Sweden. He’s accused of sexual assault there. The sexual assaults there are having consensual sex but not wearing a condom the second time around. The rest is the global deep state trying sit down Wikileaks.

That is what DUE process is for. Assange is not being prosecuted for the PUBLISHING of the stuff, just like the Pentagon Paper fiasco. He is being arraigned for allegedly helping the little gagger Manning, break the code to hack...

Neither side is sure of what damage Mueller's report may do to them, but it’s obvious to both that J A’s input could tip the scales in one direction or the other. A long, drawn out MOCK extradition battle between the U S and Great Britain keeps J A ‘s input minimal as far as the outcome, so Ecuador is taken out as a player.

He will likely never be tried for anything.

But Assange owes no loyalty to American law while not on American soil.

Jorge, can you distinguish your Assange position from Chuck Schumer’s?

How will you feel in 20 years, when other countries and China have the same sort of treaties, and US citizens are being extradited to China?

Personally, I think the UK powers that be are miffed at the embarrassment that Assange has brought them, and are now more than happy to see him being prosecuted in the US as opposed to in the UK. Win/win - Assange goes away, but it's those nasty ole Yanks that are the bad guys...

Of course. I am giving him the preponderance of innocent until proven guilty , I do not consider it a crime for him to have published what he did, only if he assisted in breaking into the Pentagon comms. Then he, like Snowden, should be hanged. So you see, mine position does differ, unlike yours and Eric Holder when it came to GTMO and water boarding...

The fact that UK police were even inside the Ecuadorian Embassy is troubling. The UK is just as guilty as the US in war crimes. Tramp saying he doesn't know what Wikileaks is is troubling.

Our govt is not a friend of Americans.

Don't you mean former Gov.?

No. I mean our current govt. Until the swamp is drained of deep-staters, communists, globalists, leftists, Islamists, garden-variety traitors and chameleon mid-level bureaucrats who make up Enemies Domestic, we are at risk.

Trump is about the only champion we have fighting for us. But he is only the president. We need patriots in the other branches of govt who are on the same sheet of music.
