I have a 1934 RS, a beautiful gun. Bluing is a nice dark blue including the lever consistent with the rest of the gun. Certainly not case colored. Is that an indication of a reblue? I thought all savage levers are case colored. Thanks. Steve

The lever should be case hardened. Here’s a nice example on a 1933 99RS.
