"Unbubbafied" as best as I could manage.
Indoor lighting.
I can hunt with it like this.
Bide time to get unmolested surplus stock eventually.

Been traded for this.....
Long story posted on gen forum with more pics.

Turned my 275 dollar G43
Into this for the same 275 dollars....
A little enjoyable work getting the G43 up and running and presentable.
Can always say I had and shot one.
90 minute drive.
Bout 30 minutes in a gun show.

I'm gonna run the snot outta this pre ban Arsenal SLR 100H safe queen and maintain it well.
One of the best Arsenal AK platforms ever made.

No..... I'm not bullchitting...

I traded off a collector rifle I would have barely shot many times and used for hunting occasionally in the future.

Hopefully someone buys it and gets a correct unmolested stock set for it and is proud of it in their collecton.

I got a safe queen pre ban Arsenal SLR 100H after it was all said and done basically for the 275 I paid for the G43 and the enjoyment of getting it back up and running and in a better version of a bubbafied stock.

Go look at my post on the gen forum and check out the condition of all the operating parts of the Arsenal SLR 100H

I figure the Arsenal is about a 1200 to 1400 dollar gun.
97- 99% condition and I'm not exaggerating saying that.
Specially since it is a Gordon tech assembled one under the Intrac contract.
This is way before Arsenal moved to Las Vegas.

One of the rarer Arsenal guns that could be found.

5 planets lined up for me as far as I look at it.
From the intial purchase of the G43 to running across the Arsenal outta the blue at the gun show.

I would rather have a high end AK I can shoot the snot outta and maintain
Than a collector rifle I can shoot seldomly and have to pay out the wazoo to fix if something breaks.

I'm as happy as a clam with the AK!!!!!

hope a collector is happy with the G43 if it works out that way.

Here is a screwed up pic of it that is a little better.
Sorry for the fugged up angle .
Between my phone and the image gallery I get my ass kicked on format sometimes

Renny,
work your basement magic on it and post completed pics in a month? Longer? How long? I like seeing the facelifts you give the old and forgotten rigs you bargain for...😎

I added this tapco slot brake.
Will make a big difference over the slant brake for sure
Have run similar designed ones before.
Make em run like a horizontal sewing machine needle and easier to stay on target( also more control bumping off the shoulder)
Added a hogue ergo grip , lot better pulling down and into shoulder.
Got a magpul gen 3 steel reinforced mag for it.

New set up with Croatian BHO mag.

Probably get a Russian RPK adjustable rear sight for it later.
And maybe a 1960 type 3 milled Polish stock set for it one day.

Need ta pick up 4 or 5 types of 20 rd boxes of ammo and see what it shoots the tightest and then stock up on 3- 4 k of it.

Shot some 7.62x39 for grouping at 25 yds on N setting.
Right elbow ODF (out der flapping) in the air unsupported.
Probably reason for alot of the verticle spread in groups.
Let a 12 yr kid shoot up the last of crappo tula stuff I had when I was done grouping.
I settled on wolf polyformance 123gr HP. 18 cents a round.
Ain't made no sight adjustments yet.
Fine tune it at 100m sometime soon, calibrate the slide.
Asked his dad if his boy wanted to shoot an AK.
Taught the kid a few basic tips, how to hold it securely and operate it. Just some basics.

Kid didnt do too bad offhand for shooting an AK 1st time ever.
He had his dad video it on his phone.

Also polished up bolt carrier, but not excessively for some contrast.
Also looking at getting unissued 1960 Polish stock set from alantic firearms for it.

Put a piece of 550 cord on the sling to get it up into shoulder better when sling is extended without the inch wide canvas strap twisting up.
