Don’t forget about Brendan Bialy and Joshua Jones. They were there with Kendrick to subdue the shooter. Joshua got shot twice but will survive. Bialy, who is set to enter the Marines upon graduation, got the gun out of the shooters hands. Heros all. I don't mean to damn those boys with faint praise, but it's a shame they didn't use the gun on those fahguts.

These days the standard of conduct is when the tables get turned the incident is over. We can't disarm the miscreants and dispatch them right there.

Rename the school in his honor. Before graduation, so his classmates can have it on their diploma. Kendrick didn't wait and have meetings. Just get it done.

Feel so sad for his parents, they raised such a fine young man.
Hard to put into words................but at least his honor will be known and remembered by many.
Indeed, at the minimum, the school should be named after him.

His heroic story needs to be on the nightly news every night.I don't want to hear a word about the shooters, stop give them so much attention. I think half of these shootings are for the the fame or attention by those needing help.

Kendrick did not dither or equivocate - did not at all shrink when facing danger - he did what any secure, insightful and courageous person would do and sacrificed his young and promising life to save those around him. Others of us can hope we would do so well if confronted with such a threat. This was a great act by a young man and two of his friends. How does their behavior compare with those "trained and armed" police who, again and again in such circumstances, did not go in to face the threat? Courage comes from within.

How many more have to die before we all collectively stand up to the inanimate-object-hating, anti-civil-rights crowd (i.e. leftists / democrats) who continually obstruct common sense school security measures like arming select school personnel instead of maintaining their beloved sitting duck killing zones (which they call gun free zones), which we know draw the nutters like a moth to a flame?
