That is an interesting read. I'm a "geezer" and have been long observing and studying both history and Human Nature, and i came to the conclusion some time ago that someday, the United States will degenerate into either a Balkanized series of "regions" or all out anarchy. Plus there are many catastrophic events, both natural and political, that could spell the death knell of our country as we have known it. There was some Indian many years ago who said, "Only the rocks live forever," but he was wrong. Even the rocks finally erode to nothing but sand.

Just my take on the enigmatic uncertainty of the future.

Another "geezer" here and that is an interesting piece. I kind of figure that eventually the U.S. will degenerate into some type of socialist, ( AKA commie) dictatorship. Then from there it will eventually Balkanize. Hopefully that's far enough in the future where I could live to a ripe old age and still not see it. Because the forces that push in that direction never rest and the pressure is non-stop. Sooner or later enough socialist snowflakes will vote themselves into it. By the time they realize they are screwed it will be too late.

There's not been a civilization, yet, that stood the test of time.
