I'm a retired FBI Agent (24 years).
I'm as disgusted as, I imagine, many of you are with the recent happenings.
However, there are many good FBI Agents. Some of them advance. One, in particular, I was happy see rise to the level of Special Agent In Charge. He is a good guy and known for doing the right things.
Recently, I learned he has been promoted to one of the Assistant Director positions.
Congrats, brother. Please don't quit moving up. We need people like you at the top.

Thought this was breaking news that Wray had been fired!  Aside from that, I'm glad some of the good guys are moving up. Lord knows there's some slots to fill.

my BIL is a retired agent. His take is that you just can't trust anyone these days on the 7th floor, or any agent much under 40 years of age. I cook twice a year for a large group {between 50 and 100) of retired FBI agents. The talk around the table does not paint a good picture of the agency as it's run today.

The FBI as a whole has breached the trust of the citizens again and again, it's going to take a epic change to heal those wound which isn't going to happen IMO unless they start policing their own house.

The FBI as a whole has breached the trust of the citizens again and again, it's going to take a epic change to heal those wound which isn't going to happen IMO unless they start policing their own house.

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Need to replace about 90% of the FBI, CIA, NSA, and Congress. Just dismantle them, easier in the long run. Don't forget the ATF .... why do they exist again? None of the chit they do is the governments business anyway.

Quite a few years ago I read about a swat team the Dept of Ed sent to a guys apartment who owed a few thousand on a student loan. Really!

My wife's nephew is a captain in the Green Berets. He had a long time goal of getting in the FBI and got to be a Ranger as a step in that direction. Then after so much crooked crap got revealed he dropped his plans and went GB.

I often wondered how it works... but the FBI arrested 2 Mennonites pastors related to the Lisa Miller, Isabella case. There has to be a point where honorable men fall on their sword rather than serve bare naked evil and tyranny. Vicky Weaver... I view the FBI as the Gestapo these days. Defund them. We don't need em.

Don’t forget, none of this Spygate, Insurance Plan, and illegal activity by the FBI could have been accomplished without the “rank-n-file” being 100% on board.

Okay, there may be SOME good agents, but I quit buying into that MANY thing last year. It needs a clean sweep, it's dirty (no, make that filthy), and a fresh start with some folks that actually love our country more than self...
