What kind of media?
Tumbling with steel pins, I use Dawn dish soap and a bit less than 1/4 tsp. of Lemishine. That's a fairly standard procedure, not something I came up with.

Paul And, it surely works well.

Less is better with the Lemishine. Too much is counterproductive, leaves the cases a bit dull. A good sized pinch is enough to get the cases shining like new.

Paul And, it surely works well. Try this. Not only does it get it spiffy clean but it coats the brass with a coat of wax and it won't tarnish in storage.

Walnut media and a few squirts of "Turtle Wax" spray, an hour and Presto! Shiny cases.

I haven't polished a case in years. LOL. But we did polish when we were going to big matches where I needed to find my good brass back... shiny was easier to spot usually.
But I've shot cases up to 20 plus times with never seeing a tumbler.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
