I'd like to book a guided fly fishing trip for my son and I when we're in Big Sky in early July.

Any suggestions on which outfitters we should contact?

Call Mike at Gallatin River Guides. He is a personal friend and excellent guide.

There's a couple fly shops in Ennis and plenty in West Yellowstone. I didn't try any guides last year, but plenty of public access is available. I hope to go back soon.
