Purchased this online towards the end of last season thinking this would be the perfect mid-weight jacked for cooler conditions. I was right and I like this jacket better than just about anything else in my closet. The downside is that it’s just a little too snug around the shoulders for me. I have a 46” chest measurement (around the chest under the armpits) and that part fits fine. I measure 55” around the shoulders and that is the tight part. I’d guess if my shoulder measurement was 2” narrower this would fit great. I’ve worn this inside a few times and 4 hours outside on an early spring turkey hunt hoping I could get used to the fit. I couldn’t get used to the tightness, and I've kept it too long to return, so it’s time for this like new jacket to have a new home. I’ve owned a few Badlands pieces so far and have been very impressed with the quality of construction and water resistance. They aren’t as light weight or breathable as Sitka or Kuiu but just the material feels a lot more durable / heavy duty. The Ceramic Heatwave liner is warmer than expected and a nice feature.
I’ll sell for $150 shipped TYD:
